Applied Robotics – ROB 421

Our robot playing in “adversarial mode”.

During Spring term 2018, my team of three designed a robot for our on-campus Applied Robotics Class (ROB421/521). At this point, my group members and I (including Corwin Perren and Joel Goodman) had had a significant amount of experience building robots from scratch, so we took this opportunity to work with an Industrial Robot that Corwin Perren had access to the lab he worked for.

Our robot was very successful due to it’s consistency and reliability. While we didn’t end up winning the competition, we learned a ton and got an incredible amount of experience out of the adventure. For more details, see our website above.
